I have wanted to start an academic blog for a while. As a PhD student I read excellent research that is published in premier journals. I learn much from reading these, but learn more from discussing them with others. I discuss them with my colleagues and hear about follow-on research at conferences. With increasing frequency I listen to discussions about them which occur online on websites and blogs.
To further participate in these discussion and to start new ones, I am starting this blog. No guarantee the discussions will be worthwhile.
The benefits of academic blogging are many.
